About the Program

Now in its fifth year, the I Can Do It Classroom Management Program gives new educators
the components they need for success in the classroom. Participants will be given tools to
provide students with a classroom atmosphere that is optimum for learning. They will learn to
communicate with parents, learn interventions for unacceptable behaviors, how important rules
and routines are and how different communication styles affect learning.

General Description:

  • This training is offered through a joint venture of NEA-NH local associations and a local SAU office.
  • Trainers are classroom teachers with real experience to use as examples.
  • Mentors and school administrators are welcome to observe.
  • Requires 1 full day (8:30–3:30) or may be broken down into 2 sessions of 3 hours each.
